Vision Statement
Community of Grace Church will be an ethnically diverse body of believers worshipping God in unity while ministering to the needs of people locally, nationally and internationally. (Romans 15:5-6, Galatians 6:10)
One in Christ, mind, spirit, body, and purpose
Mission Statement
Community of Grace Church will proclaim the Word of God through sound biblical preaching, teaching, praise, and worship. The church will provide a place of worship where believers of all ethnicities, nationalities and backgrounds will be able to worship God collectively as one, the lost will be evangelized, and believers will grow spiritually. (Romans 10:12-13, Eph 4:4-6)
We Are…..
One Body
We believe that there is one body as it relates believers. The word ‘soma’ in the Greek language is used to describe the unified body of Christ which is comprised of all ethnicities and all generations of people. We believe that the church should resemble heaven as much as possible. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13)
One Culture Many Ethnicities
There are many people from varying nationalities, backgrounds, and ethnicities. We respect and embrace all ethnicities. We believe that God doesn’t exclude anyone because of their different nationalities, backgrounds, and ethnicities. Community of Grace Church will promote Christ above ethnicity. We believe that lifting Christ above ethnicity unites all people from all cultures. (Acts 10:34-35)
One in Purpose
We believe that believers should be of one mind and one in spirit. By being one in mind and one in spirit, the overall needs of every member can be addressed, thereby improving the overall spiritual and general welfare of those who are of the body of Christ. As we strive one in mind, one in spirit, one in purpose and one in Christ, we will be able to positively impact the lives of those inside of the body of Christ and those who are lost. (Philippians 2:1-4)
